Monday in my leadership class we were doing presentations to the rest of the class on various psychology theories. There’s a girl in my class who I find quite attractive but hadn’t really talked to up to this point. She began her presentation by talking about how the FDA was created to help the diary industry. She goes on to mention that humans are the only species on Earth that consume the milk of another animal, and how our bodies don’t possess the enzyme to break down the protein in milk. My jaw dropped. I was 90% sure that I had just found another vegan who was crazy enough to be in school for culinary arts. When I asked about it, we were both shocked and incredibly excited to have found someone else with this in common. I’m not sure why it made me so excited, but I instantly wanted to know everything about this girl. Sometime in the near future we’re going out for dinner at a wonderful vegan restaurant in Charlotte! :D
